Have you ever wondered...

what goes through the mind of a cat? I have, many times. If you look deeply into their eyes, you can see mysterious things going on in there. Of course, they try to hide what their thinking with that wide eyed innocent stare. But those of us lucky enough to have one nearby, know that they're usually planning something. I know with R.B., it's usually where his next nap will be....most likely in the middle of my bed, if he can get there...With Rambo, it will be when she can nag mom into her next meal...So all during the day, there's plotting, planning and implementing taking place in this house...just like a well oiled corporate office. If only they were in the political sector, all the troubles in the world (at least theirs, anyway) would be solved. Problems are identified, solutions sought and implemented. End of discussion for them...All is well in their world...If only humans were that focused and decisive. We just may be able to learn a bit from them, if only we'd be a bit more attentive.

Cats, Cats, Cats

Hi, and welcome to my site. As you can see, I'm in love with cats. They fascinate me and entertain as well. I have a bunch of these lovable creatures roaming my home. I can't imagine life without them. So if you want to stop a minute and let me know your thoughts on these wonderful pets, feel free to chime in...I'll enjoy hearing from you...Thanks for stopping by.

"Catfood..or the lack thereof

shall not be tolerated under any circumstances whatsoever." This according to the esteemed 'Cat Kingdom Handbook of Rules and Regulations' that every kitten has been taught and has passed down from generation to generation.  There are several rules in this book that are non-negotiable; similar to our in-alienable rights in our Declaration of independence and Constitution.  It makes no difference what else may be happening in our life,  God forbid that the cat food level be lower than the furry felines think it should be.   Hopefully, there's not a hurricane coming at the time.  If there is, too bad...someone's getting their walking orders to replenish supplies immediately, lest they perish from malnutrition...(poor things, it's been a whole hour since their last meal.)   So, "out you go, and don't come back without it, OR ELSE!"  "MEOW"!.

Another rule from the book:  "Cats Rule and Dogs Drool" -pretty self explanatory, huh.  But for the dogs that just don't get it;  Mr. Nose meet Ms. Claws...end of subject...

And last but definitely not least, "Never, ever let your human become bored, it's no telling what they might do; they might even run amuck and adopt another dog, OH NO!  If this happens, you are required, by the King Cat, to do whatever's needed to change this situation.  A sure sign of boredom is when they read a newspaper or magazine--You must go into action; assume strategic position in the middle of the paper; always striking the belly up and 1/2 twist pose, include tail flipping and of course the loudest purr possible.  Humans can't resist this...Then when they're completely distracted from the paper, you have 'mission accomplished'.

Cats are very civilized individuals, with their own Constitution and by-laws to abide by.  And they expect us to abide by them, too.   It's all very simple....just don't forget the Cat Food....
